Hi All Weber Users,

SO, I started investigating the contents of my Weber box. I ran across the filter assembly. How did yall hook this black fitting in the picture up to the hole in the picture? I realize that it is for the valve cover line, but how does the black nipple secure to the filter housing? :gotme I am guessing that the nipple is worthless since it needs to be a 90 degree angle anyways, right?

Mine came with a 90º angled one... but mine is useless anyway because I'm not running the line to the valve cover.

It works by putting the black fitting through the hole and then pushing the hose on. The hose holds it in place.

I put a weber on a 240z and it had a plate and fitting that looked very similar. We pushed the fitting through the plate up to the lip on the fitting and then pushed the hose onto the other side.
