its a good deal, but is the transmission bad? or the motor bad? your better of if its the motor you can find spare sohc pretty easy. its a better deal for you if its a good transmission because ittle be cheaper to replace it with a good used motor. and plus you need to think about what you've done so no 240 for you! btu its still an overall good deal for anyone.

He hasnt put up any pics of it., Well basically hes selling two s13's for 1400.

But idk if it has rust, i doubt it does, down here there isnt much rust oon cars. if there is its somewer in the outside body.

And he said it has a bad motor i think, but the transmission still good,

If your not responsible enough to keep yourself out of trouble at school, then you're probably not responsible enough to have a car. Imo.

Oh lol. well no the problem was tht since i take weight training, sometimes my leg starts to hurt from sqauting too much so i take a lortab pill when the pain beggins. But this time i left the pill in my book bag and one of the administrators did a search on me and found it. so they charged me for that. So Its not that im a bad person or irreosponsible. Just a small mistake.

But as of the Car. I talked to him, and he said the transmission is working great, just the motor thats messed up. Its the Stock SOHC so i dont care bout that. ill swap the motor anyway. there is no rust on the body. Crackless dash. interior is in pretty good condition. And its missing the left and right fender and the hood. But im sure i can find those in the junkyard.

And he so no it has no rust watsoever. Its the hatchback model with the sunroof.

Weightlifting can get pretty crazy, so no blame there. Administration was at fault, because you were obviously being so irresponsible Carry on with your pignose endeavors, sir.

First, there is no reason to be lifting for bulk at your age- therefore no pain meds required. Second, buy the car if you want it and it is in good condition. Good luck.

Got a quick question tho, i was talking to him and he told me that the radiator hose slipped off and i think he ran it hot. so hes not sure either wats wrong with it or what needs to be fixed.

Would anyone know what may need to get fixed, or am i gonna need to get a new engine?

probably overheated and damaged the engine. he knows what wrong with it. i already assumed by the price it need an engine or trans. so this just confirms it. you can try to fix it if you want, but we don't know what Exactly it needs, or you can go with a good used engine. could be as simple as a blown head gasket or NOT, he could have warped the head or something worse.

yikes it need a whole front end thought you said it was missing just the one fender and hood. how long has been sitting out in the forest? you'd better take look for rust first? does it even have a title? if so what kind? salvaged? clean?

nowadays, you'd be lucky to find a decent shell for $200... at least here in the west coast, not too sure about prices over there in the east.

If you're looking for a daily... I'd say NO. It already sounds like too much of a hassle...

but if you already have a daily driver and you want this as a weekend project car, AND you're pretty sure theirs no frame damage or rust... I'd go for it.

IMO that car is going to need alot of work, your 15 so you have the time to put into it but what about the money? if you got parents/guardians that are going to help you out with the money side of it then go for it. you should be able to find a stock front end easily and pretty cheap as well as another KA. Its got potential to be a nice car if you take your time with it and do things right. It will be a headache at times and stress you out but it will be worth it in the end.

Yea i decided not to buy it, Ima keep saving up some more money so i can buy one that doesnt need any body repair. Jut a complete shell with no motor. Ill be willing to spare a grand at the most. But if i get this job that my cusin might hep me out with. then pretty soon i will be buying one.

^^ it looks pretty dam clean, but that interior is COMPLETLY stripped. haha. and hes asking a lil too much for it. 1800 is a bit too high. maybe 1200 is considerable.
