need turbo info

i have a 300zx turbo in my 1997 nissan 240sx. I'm not happy with the rpm range. The turbo boost starts coming down to early. On the turbo that I have in it says 14g on it(from a1986 300zx). I can get my hands on another one that says 17g on the turbo(from a 1984 300zx),also I think that the exhaust housing looks a bit bigger(not sure). Does anyone know if this will be better for me to give me a higher rpm band at the same boost? Does anyone know the specs on these two turbos?

IF the turbine is bigger it should spool a little later and not choke you off as much. General consensus around here seems to be to go with the T3/T04E 50 trim .50 compressor with a Stage III .63 A/R turbine.

T4 all the way Although I think this winter I might swap it our for a t66 or t72 and make the car a drag-only car.
