need turbo info /specs

I firuged out what turbo I want, either a Ct26 but i can't find the specs on it, or i want a Holset Disel HX35 turbo, one of those turbo I want for my low boost setup, but I want a goal of 230rwhp.

all i know about the ct26 that it was used on old supra's and mr2's but I ccan't seem to find the specs on that turbo.

thanks for ones that can give me a good answer with info and who could also tell me if those would be a good enough for a turbo for me to get me what I want.

You won't find any maps on it since it is for slanted eyes only. But, you can be sure that it put out about 210HP on the Targa Supra at 7lbs. So at about 10-15 you should easily hit your mark. Plus, you will find a flange for it from JGS when you order their mani, you won't find squat for Holset.

Actually the holsett is a t3/t4 flange and there are plenty of manifolds that will bolt up to it and work. I just read an article in one of the turbo mags with a red 95 240 that is using a log style mani and a holsett hx35w and putting down like 220hp. The magazine was Sport Compact Car and it was this months edition.

DUDE WITH A GOAL OF 250HP u can go with any turbo that has at least 50-60 .ar housing ..holset is good but to get use of it u need to run 20-30psi its diesel turbo it meant to be used in that psi range ... but thats 300-450 hp get 300zx turbo with jgladman custom manifold tel him its for z 31 , and u will have ur 250 hp/ or aim for rb20/25 det turbo.

but boost is addictive so if u get holset u know u have 400hp with proper fuel/timing

The Holset is not going to work, but I did not know that about the flange. The boost required will just be too high, you are better off with a Z31 or CT26.

how is the holset turbo not going to work?!!!!???!!! it was in a damn 240 magzine with 7psi and made 225rwhp, and then they spiked up the boost and it made 260rwhp and 272 torque.

Sorrry but I"m still getting holset turbo!!! SCREW THE Z31 T3 I KNOW EVERYONE TELLS ME TO GET ONE BUT SCREW IT. those turbo can not be found in junkyards now and days are smashing all the old cars and bringing new cars in, and last time I was there I saw a few new dodge rams. And T3/T4's they are too much money out of my budget.

Holset it is.

And as for the CT26 I read about it and also some guys told me it is too small.

If it's been done, then it's been done. I would be worried about surging, but I guess that is not an issue. So good luck, I look foward to seeing it.

I will do it and post it, I hope to be turbo by spring... But I can't see how and why it would be surging though, the air ratio is like awesome on it.
