ok my dad and myself are building my ca but i have a question about the turbo itself on the stock turbo its marked as an M24 i thought these had a t25 on them? also the intake side it has an ar .48 and the exhaust side of .49 is there anyway to upgrade this without having to make an exhaust manifold? i have found a couple of m24's on ebay that say ar of .70 for cheap and was wondering if 1)will they bolt on and 2)are they better or if anyone has a stock turbo theyd like to sell for cheap that might work to because this one has probably 1-1.5mm of shaft play thanks james

The stock turbo sucks, trust me.

Any SR20 turbo is an upgrade. SR T25s bolt up, the T28s have to have a few changes made with the water and oil lines.

Or you can send the stock turbo to Forced Permance and they will make a BigT28 out of it.

The stock CA turbo wont last long. Mine has no shaft play and after 2 months of use, oil got passed the seals and into the motor and out of the exhaust.

Yours has shaft play, junk it or use it as a cool paper weight.

As long as the exhaust manifold flange is the same, then yes you can use it.
