hi i have just decided to go turbo on my ka24de it has 93k on it runs good i am putting a t25 turbo off an sr an stock sr injectors on it an i have a 3in ex all the way back what kind of tun should i go with an it is going to b running a turbo header an a header dump pipe an a 36in front mount intercooler. what kind of power should i expect. an what do i have to do with the egr :ohno: :naughty:

Ya like he said, If you need to keep the egr you should plumb it into your downpipe. All the other info should be easy to find.

just some food for thought..with a T25 set up..you need to have a cat, the T25's use small amounts of back pressure to help seal the shaft seals in the turbo its self....if you dont run a cat..it may smoke at idle...at WOT..there is no smoking issue...bet they have been know to seal better and eliminate the smoking issue with just a high flow cat..hope this helps.

yea i read that some where an yes i am running a hi folw cat with all 3in ex an it has a resanator under it to an no piping has been down sized to put them on :chuckle: the ex cost me bought 1700 an only a 100 0f that is labor cause i konw the guy :cool:

ok me a buddy just droped a sr20det n has 91 hatch an his car was idlen like crap, woulkdnt go over 2.5k ok so i said its a maf so we pulled mine off an put it on his no change come to fing out one of his wires were grounding out. so it burnd up my maf an his we ordered two more well i put mine back on drove it home (1.5miles) an let it sit till i got the new one well i put new one on an it still runs like crap whats wrong with it do any of u know need to get it going so i can finsh getn it ready for turbo

check the ecu for trouble codes. then clear the codes, go for a drive and check for codes again.

thank u it turned out to a bad maf but got it going now ;). an after i put my turbo on how bad is it goint to run with out a tune? i will need to drive it a hour to have it tuned.

What are you tuning with? Very possible to blow the engine without a tune.

um i idk yet i want to run 6psi for driving an 10 for playn an what ever the shop has proble a lap top an a dyno i was thinkn if i just run it at like 3psi of boost it would b ok with out tune but idk thats y i ask

hey guy this might seem like a dum qustion but, where do i hook up my boost gauge i have read so many diffrent things. most say to hook it up to my f.p.r but i do not run one the pump i have dose not need one an peopl say to tap into my intake an i dont want to do that,an people say just tap into any vaccum line on the intake an i dont think that is right eather an people say to hook it to the back of the bov to so, i dont know. so if u could point me in the right way it would be cool
