Need trunk parts for S13 vert

Need right and left gas struts/dampers that hold up trunk lid on S13 convertible. Must be in good working order. Nissan and aftermarket suppliers (e.g. Pep Boys) no longer carry them new. email [email protected] if you know where I can get them.

How long ago did you check Pep-Boys? I just got some a few months ago. They may not be able to find them by car ID, just by part number.

Maybe I can buy them out here and ship to you if they are for some reason only available out here...

I went to Pepboys just 2 days ago and they had plenty of them. Plenty, at $24.99 each. $50 to keep the trunk open? Not I................

Thanks, but I may have a lead. I checked Pep Boys Jan 3rd in person and their web site using the part numbers. No luck.

Found a used pair for $40 shipped. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they are in good shape. Thanks all.

Bruce - Check the other thread, you can actually order them online and save about $10.

Also, need to see some pics of that car!
