mechanic says i need a new transmission because put new clutch in and its not going into gear my other mechanic thinks he installed clutch improper any suggestions please help 90 300zx n\a

Make that mechanic that put it in wrong pay for your new transmission. And if its only a clutch problem, then make him put in a new one for free. If he will not do either, sue his *** for big bucks.

if the car was going into gear, then you need to get the clutch install checked first. if the problem is the transmission or if the imporper installation has ruined the transmission then you need to tell the guy who installed it that if he doesnt fix it you will take it somewhere else and take him to court for that costs, as well as the original cost of his work and travel time plus rental car totals etc. that number adds up really fast.
