Need to replace my whole front end :/

Hey guys, im pretty new here still and i just bought my 240sx about a month ago or less. Im doing the basic to getting it up and running. I had to do a head and valve job and now the whole engine is almost all back together. My next step will be to fix up the front end.

Im looking for OEM style fenders, hood and front bumper. I say OEM because i want a nice perfect fit. If i can get any 3rd party parts for cheaper that would be great, as long as the parts fit correctly. As for the bumper i like the OEM look because it doesn't scrape the ground and it doesn't look ridiculous.

Does anybody know of some clean aftermarket body panels? A company or brand they would go with? There are too many choices and too many of them look sketchy. If anything I would love a stock look with perhaps a nice bottom lip on the bumper and thats it. If the hood has some vent holes i don't mind as long as it's sleek and clean. But some hoods just look like crap. I really need help finding some proper panels that i won't need to change out for a good while.

im in the same boat. can't find any stock metal fenders, pop up style is harder to find then silvia ones it seems. you can find a front bumper, oem style on ebay for about $100. and get mounting brackets screws etc. on courtesy parts.com

just see what some quality builds use. broadfield for example i think used charge speed front fenders and filled in the vent for that oem look and they look great. just gotta search around

Know of any sites that stock some good body panels? I am having a very hard time finding some decent looking bumpers. Do you know if you can get a OEM bumper with say a black lower lip? Something that looks cool but still looks stock? I can't find a single decent looking bumper, it's like everybody got together and said, ok lets exaggerate everything and not make anything proportionally balanced.

Also, hoods. Im looking at the 150 dollar "carbon fiber" hoods on ebay. But i doubt they will fit properly. Jeez is there any brand that makes after market panels that just fit?

Oh and i checked out the user broadfield I like how he covered the wheel well hole w/ bondo, but idk how to do that. Im trying to pay a body shop to do the work. And i need good work at a reasonable price. That's why im looking at good fitting panels to minimize the extra money i gotta pay to have them sit there and line up everything.

i order a lot of small oem brackets,bolts,screws and such from courtesyparts.com theres another website guys use that i don't remember. bumpers, body panels, you really need to find someone local or semi local that is parting theirs out. oem metal fenders together are over $500.00 where aftermarket 30mm wide front fenders are around the $300 area. like i said ebay has the OEM bumper for about $100 free shipping. i can't see how you can go wrong there.

as far as hoods go, if fitment is a huge concern stay away from carbon fiber or fiberglass. a $150 "carbon fiber" hood will make you life miserable. find an OEM hood. your just gonna have to pay. nothing aftermarket will fit perfect.

i don't think he used bondo but anyways he got aftermarket fenders and made them fit. you don't have to cover them. chargespeed, and origin are a few names that come to mind for body panels. check out enjukuracing.com frsport.com 240sxmotoring.com
