When my mechanic installed my H-Techs this week he told me that on my driver side I need to change my control arm ASAP. I asked him if both sides need to be changed and he said just the drivers side. Is that normal? I thought when you change certain things you have to do it in pairs? I could be wrong but I thought control arms were one of those things. He told me with the part and installation it would be $225. Is that a good price?

Also, now that I have my H-Techs, is there a certain control arm(s) that I should be looking into?

Part + Labor seems pretty decent, actually. As for changing in pairs, no. Control arm is just a series of bushings, etc. No need to do in pairs like brake pads, etc.

If I recall, H-Techs are the less aggressive ones so you're probably okay with stock CA's...
