Well, I just replaced the ps pump on my q45 and i now have a slight leak which I believe to be the power steering hose. This appears to be a tricky task. Can anyone provide instructional help or direct me to help as I could not remove it on the first try. Starting a new job monday, june 31 so need to fix fast! ty

Welcome to NICO! I would encourage you to be sure that your leak is where you think it is before you pull something out... If it's a high pressure line, look at the line with the car running. Have someone turn the steering wheel to the lock for a few seconds, don't hold it there for more than about five seconds, and it should squirt or bubble out a lot.

I don't have any real experience with the 97 Q45, so my best suggestion would be to get your FSM (Factory Service Manual) at http://www.phatg20.net and see if it helps... you will need to google some freeware to decompress the .rar file that you download.

Good luck!

Heath
