I swapped out my KA24E for a KA24DE. The swap went great only issue I have is I can't figure out how to wire up my check engine light in my gauge cluster to turn on and off when starting the car. I live in California so I need to be able to Smog my car. I know of people who will "pass" my car. But I'd rather just pay the $50-$60 to have a regular shop do it. Other than the light in the cluster everything else will be fine as long and the smog tech doesn't know my year 240 is suppose to have a SOHC Motor.

I've looked @ wiring diagrams and I can't seem to find out what I need to hook up. I assume the left over interior plug wires from the swap is where I will find my wire but I'm not sure which one.

Thanks Tim

I ended up pulling my custer and running a wire from the battery light pin to the check engine light pin. Hopefully the smog tech wont be too concerned
