Need to lube steering??

My 1994 Q45a does not seem to be as smooth as my 1993 Q45 was when it comes to the AT&TS (Auto Tilt & Tele System)

I was wondering if theres any parts that need to be lubed for smoother action.

Id be interested in hearing this too, as my Q isnt as smooth as my old one...

You can take off the cladding around the steeringwheel and lube the telescoping thing......

I'd like to know also, mine has this violent grinding in the tilt down motion.

I recall a post of long ago about only using only the nissan specific lube for this assembly.

Where would you lube the steering rack assy?

Have you needed to Lube your Q45's AT&T Steering yet?

I don't know of a way it can be lubed... Could be wrong though. A lot of steering column assemblies were replaced under warranty for chatter problems. Very expensive...

Green... Your getting confused, the steering rack is lubed via PS fluid..... The column is what were talking about.....

Just take off the cladding around it, and lube it up that way... White silicone or something that doesnt smell weird......
