Just tore apart my engine and want to rebuild. I would like to be prepared when i go to the machine shop across the street. I havent purchase the kit yet , but found a set that can be custom ordered by eagle, please advise. I would like to know the most amount these blocks can be machined. is there a stroker kit availiable? forged? may turbo in the end. thanks

Note: The information below was taken from ka.t.org

You need to get the block sonic checked if you're going to go over .5 over. I've checked some blocks that can go up to 1mm over, and I've heard that the Mexican-cast truck blocks are thicker and can take a 1.5mm overbore. Bottom line is get it sonic checked before you try it, or you're asking for internals scattered all over the pavement.

No need to go more than .020 over.

Pistons are typically .020 over and .040 over.

Stroker kit not made to my knowledge, it's already got a long stroke, any more might be asking for redline issues.

500-hp+ is easily attainable at .040 over with forged internals.
