Ok I have pretty much every bolt-on for my car and now I have no idea what to do. I just want like another bolt-on that can get me some lower times. I was thinking of place racing mounts but they are the solid mounts and i dont want my whole car to vibrate when i am sitting there at idle. so open to anything pretty much.

Actually I did that but i dont think that it helped all that much. Really I only took out the back seat and everything in the trunk.

Michael-I know you have the following modifications to your car:NitrousCAIHeaderExhaustI also know that your main focus on this car is for drag racing. But here are my suggestions. If you have any of the following, then just skip over them:1. Re-flashed ECU or piggy back ECU to help you tune your car to maximize the benifts of your Nitrous and setup.2. Bigger injectors and fuel pump. Even though these parts dont make more power on their own. You can advance your timing or nitrous flow to make more power.3. Limited Slip. Not sure if they ever made an LSD for your Altima. 4. Weight Reduction. Don't under estimate the benifits of this. Are there components in the engine bay that are not needed? Can you lighten up anything inside the car that wont be an eye sore?5. Mounts. Is there anyone else that makes motor mounts that are not as abusive as the Place Racing motor mounts? 6. Short Shifter

Well I have a short shifter i just have had some problems installing it and don't think that I can put one in for some reason. Yeah I totally forgot about getting the limited slip, nismo makes one of those for my application. However it is a little bit out of my price range at this time. I think that I am going to upgrade the fuel pump. However I am definetely going to wait on the injectors b/c I don't have a fuel management system to support them and I would be running way to rich. So I think the fuel pump is probably my best bet. I found a walbro 225 for about 100 bucks so i'm gonna get that. Thanx for all the ideas Bud.

I already looked into cams. I heard that they don't make the big of a difference without the JWT ecu upgrade. Since I have a 2k altima i can't exactly get the kind of power out of those with the kind of money that would be going into it.

Buy carbon fiber parts, lighter wheels and slap slicks on em.

If your crazy enough Ive seen a saturn and a tiburon with 2 engines, probably takes hella money to do that though.

I'd say get some bigger pills in your Nitrous setup, advance your timing via reflash or piggyback, get some track slicks to get your 60ft. down, lighten the pig up a bit, shortshifter is useless. two engines are not happening IMO.

Get a 4 way port job done to your manifold, upgrade your axels, get a test pipe, and try Royal Purple, might help.

I have a 2000 and I know other people with it have alot of success with the cams. The cheapest thing to do is switch your ecu to the obd1 and run a daughterboard setup or go turbo.

SR20 swap? ......or for the same price as an SR swap you can put a downpayment on a 3.5SE altima

dont overlook the cams soo much.. i have a decent cam upgrade.. its a lil jumpy at idle but its worth it just sounds like a sti at idle haha... and i had my head milled and ported as well as intake manifold. if u do head work have the exhaust ports and intake honed as much as possible more flow = more power.. my cams lack low rpm torque but with the high-flow high compression head and cams when u really rack up the rpms it really get cranking. i have gained about 33hp between cams and head work... i have a full exhaust and i am still running stock intake and filter setup.. i have had 3 different cold airs and i have seem to loose power.. and the sound got annoying anyway..... what i did with my motor and tranny mounts was dipped them in fiberglass resin to toughen them up a bit and i made a cable brace for the motor so im not solid but its ridgid... i used woven steal cable and braced to firewall and front rad support in strong areas... huge diffence in putting the power down to the wheels... and a little trick if u still use ordinary style spark plugs...( only on brand new never installed plugs with the metal crush washer style... mark somewhere on the outside of the plug or the tool u are using to install which way ur igniter tip faces... tighten down to snug and make the igniter face out twards exhaust ports on every single cyldinder... its not a huge diff but if u r serious every little thing helps.. this is a old race trick used in nascar and nhra still.. on engine with over 1000hp there was a noticed 5-7 hp differnce... so on altima its only a fraction of a hp but its more...) as far as buying more bolt ons.. engine run temp colder... thermostat lower temp... fans kick on lower temp?... on the track have a cold engine not a warmed up engine... it does matter... dont always run the biggest number gas... most places are 87 89 93 or whatever if u can find somewhere that runs 91 i seem to notice my car likes that best... ... practice your lauches... diff tire sizes different pressure low psi = traction high psi = speed find a med... theres so many lil things... put a bag of ice on your intake if u have cold air intake... before you race.. try a bottle heater for notrous it expands molecules... so better pressure have lines cold by engine so everything is more compressed more fuel/nos in cylder... theres sooo much..

advance your timing (mines advanced 4 degrees and i have to run premium and ive had advanced timing for nearly 4 years now with NO problem's..)....check out racingline.ca for some motor mount inserts...their superb....

ever thought about modifying your suspension? its awesome to make a 1000 hp and 2000 ft/lbs torque but without a way to put it to the ground its useless.....

gut the entire interior, trunk, back seats, carpet, door panels, it made a huge difference on mine, around 200lbs if you take the tar mats out too, my friend got his rhino lined across the inside to make it look better and i really didn't add that much weight, i think when he got his weighed it was at 2700lbs?
