Stop being lazy. You can also get the lines from Phase 2 as well and a few other sites.

FTL = for the lossFTW = for the win

FTL is used when one does something wrong or is bad/incorrect (pushrods FTL!). FTW is used when something is better than something else (CA18DET FTW!), or when something is done correctly (proper head bolt torque FTW!).

I corrected it for you.

I dont understand why you people put down a push rod motor, push rod motors may be old technology but damn look at the performance aspect of them. Their pretty tearing up whatever other motor in the same class. Perfect example the LS1 into FC/FD they literally DESTROY!!!! Stock rotary in the same class.

If you think 8000hp is horrible for such a god awful motor well your arrogance exceeds most on this forum.

nobody said pushrod motors can't make good power. Ofcourse they can, they generally have twice the displacement. BUT when you apply the same pushrod technology to similar displacement motors, the motor lacking the pushrod (SOHC/DOHC) the pushrod motor will usually make less power.

Example: Take the pusrod 2.4L I4 found in the late 80's Ford Tempo. Compare that power output to that of the late 80's Nissan Stanza/240sx/ect w/a SOHC 2.4L I4. Not only does it make better power, it also get better fuel economy and isn't nearly as noisy.

Trust me, this is from experience.

Like I said, ofcourse a pushrod motor can make good power, but I'll bet that if you applied some more modern technology to the head of that drag spec motor, you'd get a few more ponies out of it...

Dude, it was a joke. And after owning a 13B, I can say that the rotary is my favorite engine in the history of ever.

No, just a methanol burning 500cid, supercharged motor SHOULD be making 8000hp. Therefore, it is not impressive. Take the LS7. It is 7 liters for god's sake. Everyone makes such a big damn deal out of it making 500hp. How about a 3.6 flat 6 making 415hp. Much more impressive.

Now a 2 liter, non turbo, pump gas running 3 rotor making 400hp IS in fact impressive to someone like me. Nothing to do with arrogance. Just different priorities. Some worship Carrol Shelby. Others (like me) follow John Cooper. It is just all about what keeps your own nautical vessel bouyant.

Rico is socially inept, so he just sits at home and comes up with cool ways to say common phrases. JK!!!
