Need to flush my brake fluid, how much do I need?

Probably going to get some motul rbf 600 or Ate blue, might as well since that is what will be going in my track car.

Isn't that stuff synthetic?

I would think DOT3/DOT4 would be plenty (and cheaper). DOT5 would be overkill, plus, you would need to completely flush the old fluid out.

Also, is the Q's brake system designed for DOT5 fluid? I'ev heard of issues with people going from DOT3 to DOT5.

Do you really need track capable brake fluid in the Q?

Its not synth, both are DOT4, Motul has a DOT 5 fluid but I'm not running that.

I'll probably do with some regular DOT 4 in the QX4 now, I couldnt find any ATE locally and didnt have enough left over RBF600 to flush it.
