ok i have a 1995 240sx with the s13 redtop sr20det, I just upgraded the turbo to the oem s15 turbo the gt28 and i want to push more boost than just 7psi more so like 14,16,18psi is my range i want, now a local shop told me that i should get the AEM stand alone and tune it with that and 550cc injectors and i know it would be cool and all, but that will hurt the bank reall bad, i rather have the engine last then go very fast if you know what i mean trying not to blow the motor running lean, and hey do any of you know about a good Gauge kit the will coe with like 5 gauges like boost, oil temp, ect. let me know

oh yeah im selling the stock turbo, water pump, and i have a spec 6 spring clutch that im selling too.

550s would be require for 18 psi and you could probably get away with either a tuned ECU with SAFC II or just a SAFC II.

in all seriousness, the price of a tune from enjuku is 500 alone. so after you get the safc your already in the ems price range.

of course this is on the basis that you get everything new. but i'd probally jsut get the ems if i were you.

from what I hear a ROM tune ecu works fine..

Ill be sending my ECU to enthalpy(sp?) for a tune when the time comes..

plus $200 for a Z32 MAFS, $400 for 550s, $500 for a ROM Tune sounds a lot better than $1100 for a power fc, plus finding someone who knows how to tune it will be fun enough.. and id still need injectors.. so an easy 2k to get it right...

i would rather have my ECU flashed than put my motor's life in the hands of an SAFC. Piggy backs can tend to be annoyingly unreliable.

Jim Wolf is a good choice for rom flashing, as is enthalpy. Enthalpy will have my money when the time comes for my project to get under way.

i dont know what makes you think a power fc is 1100 dollars. I just bought a l jetro power fc couple days ago from alamo autosport or motorsport in texas for 775 shipped. I am doing the s15 turbo, 480cc injectors, etc, etc next week.

yeah ive decided that i am going to get a tuned ecu specifically for the z32 maf, 550cc injectors, and i bought a gt28 turbo thats the same thing as a oem s15 turbo right? but what is the code for that turbo cause i see gt2871r or something like that im wondering if its the same thing? Also i see a tuned ecu selling online by redline and it was tuned by Jim Wolf and it says its for z32 maf, 550cc injectors, and for a whole list of turbos like T3/T4, GT2871R, GT2540R, T04, GT35 will this be fine to get fory setup????

yeah i am asking that but if a ecu is tuned for the gt2871r will it still be ok for a gt28 or t28 turbo too??? cause im buying a tuned ecu that is already tuned for a few different turbos, T3/T4, GT2871R, GT2540R, T04, GT35.
