Hey All,I'm about to order some Work Emotion CR Kai for my Tiida but I need to find out what offset to order.

I've seen one Tiida with them fitted; which is this one:

I left a comment on their guest book but I don't think i'm getting a reply somehow.

Anyone able to shed some light? Im guessing I need a different offset to standard due to the wider rim & tyre.

It's really important I get this right as the wheels will be coming from Japan and I cannot swap them once I've bought them

Thanks I thought it would be +40 but needed someone that has used this offset to confirm. Are your tires 225/40/R18??

215 but 225 would fit. 215 are too thin and look kinda weird on the rim but they were on the rims when i bought them and almost brand new so they are staying for awhile

Cool

I've had to go with +42mm offset as they don't make a +40, +42 was the closest I could get so fingers crossed it fits up nicely.

I'm going with 225/40/R18 tyres so I'll inform everyone how this all fits for reference once I get it bolted up. Got to wait for the rims to arrive from Japan first.

how flush do you want your wheels to be? 18x7.5 +42 still sticks in a little. check out the gallery and look for my car thats a 18x8 +38 with a 225/40R18 =) hope that helps a little

Well, I've only got a choice between +48, +42 and +35 as thats all they make this particular wheel in. I might use some small spacers to bring them out a little....

Plenty of tire & wheel shops here in Sydney can get them.. They're technically illegal for road use but I don't care :D

I'd never use a big spacer as it compromises the thread too much but a small spacer doesn't hurt. I ran small spacers on my RX7 for ages and that car copped a hiding, never had any issues.

So you can use a generic spacer as long as it is 4X114.3 ?

Yeah that's right, as long as it's the correct PCD (4x114.3) it will fit. As I said before though I wouldn't use anything too thick as it means theres less thread for the wheel bolt to grip to

Think I may go with a 17x7 +43 OZ wheel. I'm just worried these wheels, 205/45/17 tires, and Tanabe springs is going to cause rubbing. Not too much in the mood to pay to have my fenders rolled.
