I'm looking for a seat in the 200-250 dollar range. I have a 36-38" waist and I'm around 5'11" and it will be installed in an S13. I'm not shelling out 140 dollars for custom mounts so I'll probably be making my own. I want a simple fixed back racing seat that will be comfortable to drive around town in and easy to mount. These are my choices:

cobra monacocorbeau forzasparco sprintmomo t-frameOMP Eco

what does everyone think? Right now I think the cobra monaco looks like the most comfortable for the money, but I found a sale on the momo T-frame for 220 shipped. Is anyone running these seats?

I have always run Sparco in everything. For years and years they have made great racing seats. Always top notch from my experience.

What size are you, and how do you fit in the sprint?

I currently have the Torino's in my Z but a good friend of mine has a sprint in his car. I fit in it ok. I'm 6' and like 185lbs.

But don't ever buy a racing seat without having sat in it.

I'm also adding the scat procar extreme2000 and the koenig charge seats to my list. I'd like to sit in the seats but thats pretty much impossible for me at this point in time.

My vote goes to the Corbeau Forza, they are really really nice. They are what my friend is running in his Audi.

i've sat in a Sprint before, i'm a hair over 6' and i'm 200 lbs so 34" waist, and i thought it was tight

for a 36-38 i think that'll be TOO tight

sport compact car did a racing seat shootout, i'd suggest finding that issue if you can and looking through the seats (the did comparisons w/ 5 testers of different sizes)

i have a forza also. for the money its a great seat, but i wish it had more padding in some places. i will probably just upgrade to a better corbeau seat later on.
