During a recent oil change I dropped that little U-shaped metal clip that locks the electrical connector at the MAF at the airbox..it fell into that lower void under the HICAS solenoids never to be seen again. Local Nissan-Infiniti says that clip is part of the harness and is not available separately. Would anyone have a spare clip or connector I could buy from them. I dread that plug backing off while my wife is driving and I'll never hear the end of it. She's still convinced the new Kenwood headunit is the cause of the HVAC lights going out! Anyway, is anyone out there willing to throw me a crumb?

Thanks,Steve

In a pinch get some piano wire from a hobby store. Takes a couple tries usually but you can make a clip that does the job with just a set of pliers.

Fred's checking his "inventory" for me, until then I 'll try the piano wire suggestion. I have some nichrome wire that might be springy enough for a clip. Thanks for the tip and let me know if anyone comes up with a spare.Steve
