need tech help plz

i currently own a 2003 max (auto). when im driving the 3rd or 4th gear stays stucks and rev/rpm go up and wont change gear. i have to turn off the car and let it restart then itll go without a prblem....i do this 2-3 times a day. they told me its the camshaft/crankshaft sensor. im wondering if it also afffects the performance because i do feel it a bit slugish when wanting to go fast. And after 30mph it starts to shake only when pressing the gas

if someone has had or has this problem id like to know what i can do to fix all these problemsor if replacing the sensors will fix all of the above, i love my max and want to stay with it for a long while. thanx

Get a free OBD II scan from Autzone and the likes so we can verify the problem. Also, check/tighten the main engine harness ground screws (2 ea. near the oil filler cap).
