I recently took apart my t-tops completely in order to deal with some rust under the paint of the sheet metal on both driver and passenger side. Well upon finishing my disassembly, I realized the rust on the underside was much worse than I thought. So much so that I don't think I can actually put the things back together anymore. Does anyone know of a place where I can get those metal pieces by themselves without having to buy whole used t-tops? My worry with buying used is another hidden rust problem. Also, I would have to take them apart and put my glass back in them because of the VIN being etched into the glass. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I would say you would have better luck bringing it to a fab shop to have it made and welded in.

Thats what I was going to do. I found a few OEM warehouses online that had them for about $160 a piece but ended up getting luck on ebay. Someone had both drivers and passengers side whole tops for cheap. I just ended up going with that.
