Well when i bought my car the suspension was clunking. So i took it to a tire shop and they said it was blown shocks and they wanted 1600 for everything. Well i said **** that and i bought tokico hps and eibach pro-kits with new top mounts. I installed then myself and there is still the clunking noise. It happens when i iturn my wheel, go over bumps, just about all the time. I know it isnt my shock and spring setup becauase i installed everything right. Also, one of my wheels moves more left and right then it should. Like i can push it and it will move a little. I am thinking i need new bearings and some new bushing and brackets. I also think i need some tie rods and other parts. If anyone has had this happen to them let me know. Thanks, Mike.

Check the Tie-rods,My friends 240 was doing that, and it was the tie rods, all so look at the tension rod bushings.

i already have tein tension rods. My tension rod bushings were pretty bad so it was a good thing i replaced them. Ill pick up some tie rods i guess and see if that helps. If anyone has any other info just post it up please. Thanks, Mike.

Definitely take a look at the bearings also. If the tire wobbles top to bottom, it is most likely bearings or ball joints. If the tire wobbles front to back, it is more likely the tie rods.Either way, this is a very dangerous condition to be driving around in. Please take care of it immediately.
