I recently acquired a 1993 240sx that needs suspension very badly. I was thinking of going with Koni Yellows with Ground Control since i dont want to go with a full coil-over setup. If anyone could give suggestions as far as the spring rate goes it would be a huge help. I want something that will handle well but not beat up on my car too bad either.

first of all, it isnt KA (or any engine for that matter) related. you might get better responses in the suspension forums. otherwise, just stick with the 240 gen section.

second... i'm not a big fan of spring / strut combos... but definitly dont go with ground control coils... they may be good for civics, but not for 240s. a lot of people go with sportlines and kybs n such... sportlines have a good drop i guess, according to what everyone else says.

but if you want my honest advice, i'd tell you to go coilovers. they arent that bad, its a good investment, and theyre ride hieght and damper adjustable. personal preference is the HKS hypermax II's. 32 way, 9 in front/ 7 in rear. not to stiff on the streets, and good for track.
