Dont waste your time or money coming to Nashville. This place sucks *** :ohno:

I highly recommend visiting downtown Chicago. I was there 5 days and still didnt see everything I wanted to :dblthumb:

Thanks for the tip. Added to the itinerary. :inoutgay:
Call me when you're up here. 707-GAY-BUTT :inoutgay:

No, seriously, hit up some concerts while you're here in the states. Vegas, waterparks, baseball, basketball, amusement parks, go to Broadway in NY. Carlisle. Many things to do. Stay away from Disneyland and Universal Studios. Go go-karting!

Wow Ozzie, I think you have a list to make. How long did you say you could stay?

i noe, rite?

I only have 3 weeks, so I will have to make a list that suits me from the suggestions made, and miss out on a lot of stuff.
I knew that would happen anyway, but at least I have some ideas now.

I think I will probably do some of the west coast/south west areas, then Phoenix, then fly over to Carlisle/DC.(I'm assuming DC before Nicofest weekend)
After that, head to Cleveland, then maybe Detroit, then Chicago. Start heading south (not sure how far yet, probably at least to St Louis so I can sleep on Jesda's couch)
Fly back to the west, Vegas (not sure whether to do it before or after Carlisle), and fill in the gaps until I have to head home again.

Experience a few culinary delights of the US (in-n-out, philly cheese-steaks, etc) catch a baseball game, a basketball game, check out the rock and roll hall of fame.

A travel plan is slowly coming together, but by no means is it complete and locked in.

I've been instructed to take lots of pics.
I might attempt to keep a journal of sorts, so I can make a massive, boring thread about it once I get home.

I'm surprised that the country's birthplace hasn't been suggested much!
Boston is a helluva town to see- historically and for entertainment. The Freedom Trail is a must-do! Providence, RI is loaded with sights, but one of the best places has to be Newport. Between well-aged mansions (1700-1800's- once owned by people like the Rockefellers, Carnegies, OLD American money), awesome shorelines, and the first electrically lit street in the US- there is PLENTY to keep you busy for 2-3 days in New England. You're welcome to stay with me, I have space for you and an air mattress. I live centrally to all of the above mentioned attractions; 30 minutes from Boston, 15 from Providence, and about 30 to Newport. More than happy to give you directions and/or take some time off to show you around.

However, if theme parks are more your style, Orlando is a neat destination. Catch Sea World, Islands of Adventure/Universal Studios, Disney (OH AND WATERPARKS!!!). Plenty of culture to go around in the cesspool of American tourism.
Also, as its been mentioned before; Washington, D.C. Very, very, very good times cane be had between the free museums and tours.
