how can i test if oil feed line is feeding the turbo oil ?

i use a " T " in the oil sensor Hole for the oil feed line .

my car dosent want to start because i just put a new timing chain kit and had to replace 2 camshafts . One broke off !

i unscrew the oil line from the turbo and crank the car but no oil comes out the line ?

notice the car dosent start just cranks i still got to time the engine for it to start .

what i want to know is if the engine has to be on running to feed oil to the turbo
or with ignition on and giving it some crank is enough to feed oil ?

i still havent been able to time it correctly im doing everything by JIM WOLF manual on their website how to set the cams and the gear marks the pully marks ! but still dosent start !!

on top of that im not getting no oil to the turbo feed line .. i did take the oil pump out and clean everything in the oil pan there were some plastic in it from a broken guide on the chain ! STILL no oil to the turbo ...

i also install used cams ... BUT here is the weird thing atleast for me never seen this before in cams !!

the intake cam has 2 welds on the last holes where oil is sopuse to circulate
the holes that are welded are the last ones rear of the valve cover !! the other holes are not welded !!!

my car is a 95

ok i did some research and i know that people put 91 cams on 97 s14 and have to weld those holes ..
would it work on my 95 s14 with those holes welded ???

If the oil pump is installed correctly and the oil pick up is in the oil, just cranking the motor without starting should create enough pressure to pump oil all over the floor if the line isn't connected...I know because I've done similar tests.

make sure the oil feed line isnt screwed on to tight or you wont be able to get oil threw the line and make sure you do it with the spark plugs unplugged. cause if there is no oil getting to the turbo then you dont want the car to start at all seeing the engine uses oil squiters and if the oil doesnt get to the turbo then most likey it isnt getting anywhere

did you recently take the engine apart?
