Hey guys wats up?? I have an oppotunity to install a FMIC and BOV on my car, I was also installing an SrT25 on my car. but that didn't work out to well ( no boost) so i swap back to stock turbo. Now while the turbo were out I was playing with the waste gate actuator, and spin the actuator rod a few time. ( well i didn't think that it was going bck in -_-" ) after all was said and done.....i took the car out for a ride.......car feels SLOW, boost fine up to about 4K...then it feels like it stop boosting and just pushing HOT AIR!!! and no power past that point. stock set up feels much better than this... my question is this: can " spin or turn the Actuator rod effect ne thing??I didn't think so..but I don't know ne thing" I know that by upgradeing theIntercooler to a bigger 1 can cause Lag, but this is not lag...it feels almost stock up to the point where..it just quit!! which is around 4K.

And i did also install Blitz Twin SBC Spec R boost controller don't know the set up..and I install it afterward vac line from the actuator go to OUT, and from the turbo compressor go to IN. is that right???

Last.. the HKS BOV i install did not come with the recirculating thingy..and it causeing my RPM to jump up and down from 1000-500 @ idle...neway to correct that problem?? Hope u guys can help me.....I love my car..and its sick right now... C

try disconnect the vacume hose going to the boost controller, and hook back up to the stock actuator to see if it will make any difference. (just run like stock set up )let me know

I thought the rod was fixed to the diaphram in the actuator. Turning it may have damaged the diaphram. Could be wrong????

I had a bad actuator and couldn't boost past 5psi no matter how much I adjusted my MBC. Put on another actuator and got normal boost control.

I never took them apart.. but I dont think you damaged them though... sound like something else..

hook it up to run on stock boostif you want to know if you damaged the actuator or not. you can put the visecrip on the rod. so that it cant open, which it should boost however you want to boost.. but be careful doing that becuase theorically, it will boost until the something goes kabbon. however this is just for the tip if you have to check the wastagete is bad or not.. wacth your boost gauge..

or simply you can disconnect the vacume hose from actuator to see if you can even boost... like I said.. wacth your boost gauge..

I think the boost controller is hooked up wrong. Should be manifold to BC in, BC out to actuator. This kinda sounds like a timing issue. Pull the codes from the ECU, and tell us what you get. Also, do as the others said, and bypass the BC to see what happens.

I try 2 things today. I took out the Boost controller, the same results, pull code from ECU =55 which mean code free. I'm checking timing tomorrow...but I didn't mess w/ ne of timming stuff...can it change it self...maybe...i'm sleepy and I can't think.. C

Its an old suggestion, but have you checked the IC connections for leaks? Have someone hold the car at 4K while you spray the conections with some soapy water and look for bubbles. Also, can you remove the BOV and put in a straight piece of pipe? If so then give it a (temporary) try; at least then you can eliminate the BOV as your trouble spot.

Finally, you may want to consider typing your posts in a word processor with some spelling and grammar check functionality, and letting it clean them up before you put them on the board. "NE" is only one letter shorter than "ANY" and the latter spelling doesn't make me want to reach through the screen and strangle you.

Sorry, its been a long week.
