Ok, I have searched and looked at the topics I could find about this, and they all dont really have all the details - if you feel that one of them does, please sum it up for me as I don't get whatever they are saying I guess.

If anyone knows, I need to know:

Will it fit in the s13 non HICAS pumpkinWhat type of output shafts can I use (If the s15 ones will work, where can I get these...Venus only sells the differential)To anyone whos done it: any perticular problems you ran in to that I should plan for, anything you would do differently?

Thanks.

The S15 LSD will definitely fit in the S14 pumpkin, and will bolt up if you use the S15 output shafts...to an S14. So unless somebody knows right off the bat, i'd say some research into the differences between the S13 and S14 assemblies will get you your answer.

I say nay!! the S15 lsd housing should not fit in a S13. cuz' the S14 one won't fit either. try and explain: ok S14 two threaded mounting posts on back of unit (diff cover) also two mounting holes with bushings behind the snout. S13 four threaded mounting posts on back ( no match ) two mounting holes without bushings behind snout ( no match ). wow, back the truck up here. Your talking about guts for guts ehhh. ok I'm pretty sure the guts are the same. Just remember to put the shims back in how they came out. also your going to have to swap the ring gear off the S15 guts to your S13 guts ring gear.

You know what , toki , throw everything I just said out the window!! I just found out the S15 has a torsen style ( gear) diff. SEARCH!! I don't know if it will fit now , but it should. bust them open and use your judgement. If they look the same size it should fit no prob...

An s14 diff will bolt directly into an s13...I know this for a fact i did it earlier this week. the only problem is the front crossmember bolts are too short but you can buy new ones for $.79.

S15 diffs have waay different ratios than s14/s13(4.08) from what i hear.

[edit] the s14-s13 swap does require you to swap the back covers so you can have the 4 mounting bolts instead of 2.
