Hey just wondering if anyone has some stock exhaust mani & turbo heat shields that aren't corroded. Mine are still functional but have little rust spots everywhere...

I used to know a site that sold them brand new, but I lost all of my favorites... I think they were kindof spendy though.

You should try to make your own with a drill and some sheet metal unless you like the stock look..

you can always grind the rust off and have them chromed..i know i know sounds bad but you know what when you buy some off someone else you will end up with rust again later on regardless

i've tried rust remover and even tried sanding down the rust but its in deep and also on the inside where I can't reach... I plan on getting the shields jet hot coated to prevent future rust and to provide better looks and heat blocking...

goofynick6, I emailed you...

MOST OF THE SHIELDS ARE RUSTED BECAUSE OF THE SALT AIR.... IF YOU HAVE/FIND ONE THAT ISN'T YOU ARE LUCKY.

Yeah I know, my entire motor was covered in salt and rust. And i'm an absolute clean freak so I can't stand having these nasty orange/brown heatshields.... if there isn't anyone in the U.S. i guess ill have to find someone in aus or japan to send some over
