Hello i would like to get an sr in my car I have been learning more and more about them as time goes on but i don't think i have all the ability or place to do it to do the swap i would like to know if there is an experienced sr swapper in the upstate ny area who is willing to do it for me? thanks!

I just bought an engine from Heavy Throttle two weeks ago or so and the engine will be here to my door next Tuesday.

It was such a pleasure doing business with Heavy Throttle, they have my highest recommendation.

It's also nice you're in NY, since that's where they're located.

If you're thinking about getting an SR then I highly recommend going with HT.

Give them a call and ask them if they'll swap the engine for you. I'm sure they do, do swaps.

heavy throttle doesnt do swaps any more you have to go to built performance for that. both shops are fantastic tho.

theyre not in upstate either, its a 4 hour drive southeast of where we are

Jeff @ Heavy Throttle will probably direct you to Built Performance. When Jeff was installing engines these guys were his mechanics. They bought the garage and soter from Jeff and now he only does retail sales (good prices too). Dirving 4hrs to go to someone that has probably swapped 100 SRs is nothing for the peace of mind and you'll have no headaches later in life when some sketchy bit of wiring causes some ungodly failure in your car.
