Need SR timing GURU help!

I put the head back together and came to timing part.I put the chain timing according to the FSM.IN cam @ 10, EX cam @ 12 with mating mark on the chains.

But after couple hand crank, the chain was off mark.

Does any one know if this is normal?

How many times did you go around?

Its a 4 stroke motor, you need to be on Compression stroke of cylinder one. if thats how you had it when you first did it. No problemo.
