I suggest putting together a resume type paper about your car and writing a formal written proposal to companies you are wanting to solicit sponsors for. I am not trying to be mean but just asking for sponsors on a board is not going to win you favor with companies cause it is unprofessional and they won't likely take you seriously.

But like I said treat it like a job and make out a resume detailing out your car. Then write a formal written letter to the company or companies you are wanting to get sponsorship from and write things in the letter explaining what you are asking for, what you can do for their company (this is the most important piece cause they want something out of you as well if not anything else exposure of their stuff on your car at major events), what shows/races you have done, and what major races/shows you are planning to do within a 12month perios of time. You want to be as professional as you can while making it look like they would be losing something valuble if they did not back you in some form or another whether it be free parts or a discount on their parts.

I hope it goes well for you. Good luck :)

Yeah man, just shoot me an e-mail and I will try to help you out. [email protected]

Yes when you send them a proposal you need to include some nice high quality photographs. I packaged 4 8.5 x 11 color photos with mine on photo paper that I printed out on my printer.

What does it matter what his car looks like? I've seen Josh, he tries very hard, and is pretty good. His car is a mess cause he goes all out every time he gets out there. I don't understand why you'd roll your eyes at his car. It may be a POS but it puts down enough power to get it sideways, and its macked up because he pushes it constantly.

why would someone pay money to have their name on a beater? I mean thats AWESOME! that he's a good driver and all, don't get me wrong...its just not something I'd want my business name on.

dude, it's like sponsoring a demolition derby car, people still read it! until it gets mashed in and looks like fingerpaint anyway

besides, who wants to practice with a really nice looking car? Better to get really good with the beater than destroy a beautiful car.

Perhaps he wants a body shop to sponsor so they can help the repairs:D

Haha, thats great....

But, yeah, exterior seems to be little rough, with a few flaws in the paint and such...

But love the custom fabricated bumper mount ; )
