Ok, so i picked up a 92 coupe, ka24de, had to replace head gasket, now that it is all back together, i get no spark. i already did the norm, cap, rotor, wires, i even went as far a to get a new coil pack, but still i get no spark. she will crank all day, but with no avail, i still get no spark. any suggestions before i go and start tearing wiring out to track it all down. oh, and im kinda on a time restraint, my wife is leaving and once she is gone, i have no other mode of transportation to and from work, so please, give me some more ideas to check.

I think there is relay or a fuse for the ignition coil check that.also are you sure its the spark and not air or fuel? check those too.To check for spark take the wire that goes from coil to distributor take the dis part off and touch the tip of the wire to a ground and see if it sparks.

I got the tool that plugs into the wire and grounds out to see if there is spark at the wire, and im not getting anything there, i know i need to replace my fuel pump (still looking for a whole assembly if anyone has one they wanna get rid of for cheap) but right now im focusing on my ignition system, trying to get some sort of spark, so i have the fuel pump disconnected, dont want the car to start right now, still a ways off from that, just wanna find out why im not sparking at all.

if there is no codes pulling then your sensors should be working (KEYWORD SHOULD) but it takes a volt meter to test these things

take a volt meter and test the coil wires one is ohm load the other is voltage if there is nither check the resistor in the wiring harnes right before coil pack. your gona have to unwrap the wires to find this. and test it again before the resistor, still no power you have to take out ur ecm and unwrap the wires at the ecm and there is a fuse in them and test before the fuse if it has power replace the fuse if it does not replace the ecm that is everything i just went threw to get spark on mine and it turned out being the ecm
