you sure it aint under there? Its like a foot long round metal tube... its used for the jack too so it might be easily overlooked....

well the one for lowering the spare is like three feet long....

the one you want is like one foot long and about an inch in diameter... if you look in the end you will see a rubber grommet designed to hold the plug after its unscrewed

hmm...all i see is the jack itself, the long piece to lower the spare, and an l shaped tube for the lugs/also used to lower the spare (square hole in it) one end has the connector to the lug nut the other is like a really big flathead screwdriver tip.

Just changed the plugs in my VG33e Pathy yesterday. What a pain! That back plug has to be done completely blind. I couldn't even get my hand back down there to feel around. Just had to trust that I was on the plug, and that the new plug was going in the hole. It was the first time I've changed the plugs on my truck, and it appears that the person who did the plugs last time actually used some sort of glue to stick the plug to the tool while lowering into place. Even with the factory tool it is not an easy job. I know you are asking for the factory tool - you need it. I think it would be even harder to do the job with traditional tools. The plug angles slightly back, and the firewall cowl is directly over the plug.

Mine is different from the jack tools... there were two metal tubes and one metal bar each around a foot long. One of the two tubes was for the rear plug, and the other was for the rest. The metal bar was used to turn the tubes.
