I know most people goen to tell me to take it to a shop or dealer(owe god), but just got my car back from the shop about a week ago. I took it in cause I was having a steering problem, girl hit ran over a curb, messed it all up. But once I got it back noticed that the VDC off and Slip light were on, and this only happens after I start to drive it a foot then the damn car just stops for me and those lights come on. After that its all good, I dont think it has to do with running over the curb, I have been reading around about what can cause this(brake fluid, rotors, ect.) Brake fluid cool, and I did have them install new front rotors for me when it was get n fixed. My friend thinks it could be the sensor, but just want to see if anyone else got some advice. Also not sure if this connects to that prob, but their is a squeaking sound comen from my driver side, mainly when brake and go, of course shop says they ain't got nothen to with it and said it probably the strut. Spose to bring back Sat. for them to look, but want to get some ideas before I go. Thanx to however reply s, peace.

Welcome to NICO

Let the shop that did the work recheck it but

Yup I thinkyou should eventually take your G to to the dealer? You should still be under warranty?I am assuming you are fairly young and as one of the older farhts here I can tell you from personal experience over many years that trying to save a few bucks by letting some #sshole with questionable skills and perhaps lack of training work on a hign tech vehicle as the G35 is asking for trouble, aggrevation, and the likely possibility that you will end up paying twice? Many independent shops use incorrect parts perhaps made in China where almost everything now sold in the US comes from?I hope you paid with a credit card?

Just my $.02

Good luck

It could be sooo many thing. But squeaking and lights on definetely doesn't belong in a G. I would take it back and tell them to fix it right.
