So I'm building a s13, just fired up the front clip last night sounded great so I pulled it and now its on an engine stand. It has 80K on it and was def. neglected so it needs a little love. My problem is I dont know if I want to leave it stock in throw it in the car or wait a year if that and build it before I stick it in...

If I build it I want it VERY strong and reliable, I'll probably build for 500-600hp but only run it at 350-450 I was looking at doing the head with tomei solid lifters and preparing it to rev at 9k but I dont know what to do with the bottom end. should i go 8:5:1 or 9:1 what components? turbo?

if i dont build it what upgrades should i do to it while its out of the car? I want the motor to last i was thinking some kind of fuel mangement , exhaust minifold and turbo upgrade, upgraded head gasket...???

the clip has a nice fmic, some cusco tensions, some crazy a** sway bar, and r32 front brakes let me know what you guys think, build it and how or upgrade it and what...thanks keep in mind its going to be a drift car with light nightime street driving im leaning more towards building it up just so i dont have to worry about it later but i need a little help figuring out what components to get
