im thinking of aeromotive fpr static 1.1+ 550cc injectors +z32 maf and a safc 2 to go with my t3t4 set up can this be tuned until i can go full stand alone .or a tune ecu ?Thanks .

why waste 200 on a safc when you could spend an extra 300 and get a rom tune and call it a day... 550cc, Z32 mafs has to be the most common over the counter tune on an SR, no need for a standalone at these levels IMO. Or you can get Nistune and have it all for the price of a decent rom tune.... but you will still need to have it tuned unless you are doing it yourself.

ok im trying to get my car ready for race wars yes i said race wars( ozarkrace park here in poduck missouri called it that) i have until the 26th to register and be up and running broke in and everything by them and the enthalpy tune for 399.99 i am looking at has a minimum 2 week turn around .i just want to know if it will get me buy .th v8 guys at work say 4 banger cant get in the 13's with 250rwjhp so i want to provr them wrong .i just dont understand why so many peole have a problem with the safc ive read alot of 2jz guys use it and a friend of mine was going to use it on his 2jz swapped sc300 .so will it work.Thanks..

Yeah it will work but you will either need to dyno it to get the Air fuel ratios right. Or you will need a wideband, a freind, and a wide open road wih no cops. You will need these things so thats you can take and add fuel a** neede to fix your Air fuel ratio and to set your decel air so you don;t bog out everytime you come off boost. If you getting this just to run a few times it will work fine. But if i were you i would just get a standalone and F the rom tune altogether. BTW i have a SAFC for sale 200 shipped. LMK

i already hav a wide band and a friend who tunes aem ems for a living well 350.00 an hour , but yeah that is what i needed to know i would rather just go stand alone but i can only do so much at a time .And i planned on some dyno time .Thanks for the info and ill have to get back at ya on the safc im buying my fpr and my ss power steering line this week end . next week will be either safc or 550cc injectors .I appreciate the help.
