I had my car stolen on New Years Eve, and I got it back. the theives stole the radio, but they cut the entire harness out from the dash harness. Since then, I purchased the harness connectors and pigtails, but I have no idea, what goes where. I got the wiring guide for the SE chassis, but the plugs I have and the wires from the harness do not match up. Check out the pics. The plugs and the dash harness are for a 97 SE Anyone who can tell me which wires from the plug connect to which wires from the harness, that would be AMAZING!!!

the mess they left.the wires directly from the dash harnessalso from the dash harnessand colors from the dash harnessplugs wires up closethe plugs again

So I think you get the point. I want to get a radio installed soon but this is not working for me.

thanks a ton.

are you telling me the wires from the plug or the ones coming off the harness. The issue I have is that the wires off of the plug only match the harness with about 4 or 5. I am clueless as to how that is supposed to work.

Note:-in the pics the chassis wiring has several brown wires that are not on the plugs,-the same goes for the wires on the plug that are there but do not exist on the harness. is there another pig tail that im missing? I dont see this type of transition on my 95, but its a base model?

hmm. ya wiring is always confusing haha. it looks like at least the power wires will match up to the diagram i gave you. if thats the case i think you could possibly figure out the speakers by elimination. like set the stereo so its fading to the front left and then try the wires til that speaker comes on, then fade it to front right, ect.. (theres probably an easier way hah, im not the guru you need!) anyways hope i helped you a little bro

im almost positive the bundle with the most wires are for the radio and the other ones are for the HVAC (AC HEAT) control

I'm assuming that this car had the factory amplifier in it at one point. The leads going to it are going to be a different color than what everyone lists. You should have 4 pairs of wires that are twisted together for your speakers. You can either take a 9volt and pop out what speakers are what or I'll dig around and see if I can find you the wiring.

The car did have the factory amplifier. It was stolen when the previous owner had it and he replaced it with an $800 MP3/Ipod player, and amp. He also replaced the speakers.
