While we have never done a test fit with the 300tt wheels and tires with the Sportlines here, I can say the Mustang wheels are a no-go. They would not be hub-centric (don't fit on the hubs correctly).

The centerbore on a Mustang wheel is 70mm. That's over 4mm larger than your hubs on the 240SX. The wheels are not sitting or even centering on the hub like they are designed. They are centering on the lugs. That can lead to vibration and sometimes hub/wheel failure.

1 case out of how many?

I wouldn't base something working on just one person's "success". Think of it as automotive russian roulette.

The vast majority of S13 and S14 owners here have used the Pro-Kit. The Sportline springs are a very low setup for street use and will limit what sizes you can fit under the car. I would guess that's why we haven't seen any responses about the sizes.

also the 300zx wheels will nto fit without spacers...and if you search its been established spacers are evil, as are non-hub centric wheels.

also, the springs wont affect clearance to the wheel/tire unless it affects camber excessively.

I do know, hoever that the new sentra se-R spec-V rims fit without spacers, but would never, ever clear coilovers.

and obviously s14 stock alloys fit S13's if you have 5-lug, etc.-chet

i had sportlines on for a while with my current wheels/tires 17x8f offset 38 with 235/45 tires and 17x9r 43 offset(i believe) with 255/40 tires and had no problems. i took them off but will be puttin them back on with agx's soon. last time a alignment shop said my camber was 5 and 6 degress off so i put in different springs. i think they may have been lying to me jsut to get me to pay for camber kits. i put in springs that raised the front .3" and took it to a different shop that siad it was jsut fine. well before those i had prokits where the 1st shop needed an eccentric bolt thats still int he car but they told me it was a one time use. sorry for goin on and maybe not making sense.

basically with sportlines there might be a chance of needing sumthin to correct camber. i will find out once the snow is gone
