i'm sorta interested in selling my s14, and getting a q45. right now i have no clue where to start if i did get a q. i know some people put Z brakes on them, and JIC makes some coils for $1500 w/ 10f8r spring rates. does the car come stock with lsd? whats the best year to get? i'm looking at 94-96. they all come with the same motor right? sorry i'm such a noob. i built my s14 from the ground up, but i have no clue about this.

greg (azhitman) any help?! and it'd be my daily driver, and maybe try out some parking lot events. i know you can get some crazy aero, any pointers?

Greg doesnt like the Q any more since he went to the 240

The Q is a reliable car, and the 94 is a great overall choice. 9093 have the guide issues like on the KAs, unfortunately theres no warning.. The 9093 however is a little faster.. Once everything is up to snuff, all year Q should be similar to maintain which is going to be like maintainng 2 240s..

Start there.....

I have Z brakes on my Q .. The 240 conversion lines work perfectly..

Bottom line, is you need to drive a good one and see how you like it... My gut feeling is that youll probably go back to your 240......

1994 and 1995 are the best equipped and most reliable of the G50.

Do a little reading around here. Doesn't need an aero kit as it was very clean from the factory. Most kits increase drag and decrease function and innate beauty of the well crafted design.

thanks for the info.....umm well i have a full msport aero, and overfenders on the way, and 17x9, 17x10 w/225/45 all around on the s14.....so if thats a hint on how i do things, then i dont know. only reason i'd go q45 is because they're pure hotness when all v.i.p. style IMO. but i'm gonna save for a while and see if i can make it an addition to the s14, rather than selling one for the other. thanks elwesso, that link summed up the basics.

Probably a good move... BTW, if you want that VIP look on the G50 your pretty much gonna have to get anything from Japan... Apparently theres a few places you can get kits here in the states, but very few and far between.

You can take mine out and drive the hell out of it next time you're in PHX.
