I'm getting some CV3's (Silver Machined) in a few months and I have constantly been going back and forth on whether to get 20's or 19's.
If I go with 20's, it will be 20x9 +32... 19's, it will be 19x8.5 +15.

Lowered on Tein Springs

This is before settle, fresh after install.

Even looking at Eriko's 20's, I still can't decide.
I just need some opinions on what would look best, what do you guys think?

I think you should go with 19's. But that's mine opinion. 20's seems too big for our cars.

Yeah, I was thinking 20's would look too big.. Might as well play it safe with 19's. Thanks man.

20s are definitely perfect for our cars. 19s are lighter and they let you go lower without pulling your fenders. (and the obvious, they're less expensive)

If you're planning on dumping the car, I'd go with 19s. If you want a decent drop and you're a form + function guy then go with 20s. That said, I'm running 20s and dumped the car

Ugggggg.. why'd you have to say that?! lol

I'm just planning on keeping my Teins on for a long time, not dumping it. What would you get if you had Tein's? I absolutely love Eriko's 20" CV3's, but I'm just not sure if they'd look the same without his drop (and offset).

I'm sorry to say this but it'll never look the same as Eriko's with out the drop. If I had teins, I'd go with the 19s save some cash and get coils asap. Offset is never a problem, nothing spacers won't fix..

Sad to say it'll probably be a long time before I get coils because I'm only 18 and had to go through lots to convince my parents to let me get springs. I think I'll just go with 19's..

if money is not the issue, then the question is

is the vehicle YOURS or your parents...

if the answer is YOURS

then just jump off the cliff and do it :S

Whats done is done they can only stay mad for so long

edit:: and besides, unless your parents are car enthusiasts they probably wouldnt even notice

Let's get back on topic, gents.

I will offer that 19s are more driveable while 20s can fill out the wheel well better than look better. The key is offsets.

That being said, I never upgraded my wheels - couldn't find a wheel style that would fit my picky tastes, and when I did, it was incorrect bolt pattern or too extreme with respect to fitment (too low offsets).

19"s without a doubt. 20's are to big and start to push on that 'my car can only go 38mph but looks good doing it.. thug life' stigma

Seeing yours makes me want to reconsider haha, but I'm pretty sure I'll get 19's so I can go with a more agressive offset.

You could always just go with lower profile tires/stretched tires and camber. I'm running 20x8.5 +35 with 245/35/20 tires, 0 camber in the front and only a few degrees in the rear, and I could still probably use a 10mm spacer in the rear and 5mm in the front.

Im going 20s next cause 19s slammed on coils is low as s*** lol. Scrape everywhere!!! So I'm getting 20s just to sit a little higher from the ground. Just a little though:)

Thanks for all the input guys! I'm gonna go with 19's +15, just need to get my fenders rolled. Probably get them in January or February :)

+15 in the rear is fine. Front might give you a little trouble, unless of course you plan on stretching the tires.

You're saying I might have trouble in the front even with fenders rolled?

Edit: I'm considering 20's again...... I'm starting to get mad at myself lol
