Hello- My 94 Q is idling rough and seems to be down on power. The last time it did this I found a bad injector and a marginal injector and replaced both. I checked all 8 injectors tonight and they all read 11.5 to 11.6 ohms which is in factory spec.

My question comes about the Knock Sensors! When tested as per Q45.OrgI get no reading on them at all. A big fat ZERO! I have no Check engine lights.

So my question (After much searching) will bad Knock Sensors always trip the CEL and is a big fat ZERO an actual indication of bad sensors or did I just perform a harness test instead?

As always, thanks for your help

Scott

Never mind about the KS harness. My meter had almost dead batteries and would read voltage but not ohms. A new battery later I have 565K on one KS and 570K on the other.

I will however take any other suggestions....

...and a bad injector (clogged, leaky) is still possible even if they ohm good.

Check fuel pressure. Should be about 34 psi with regulator vacuum connected and about 45 with it disconnected.

Check fuel pump control module and pump if pressure is not near spec.
