Need some input

Ok I wired the car up it seemed to run fine... I haven't really driven it yet just up and down the drive way. A few times it Takes a while to start. I crank and crank then I stop crank again and it's fighting to start up. Then I let it run it sounds like it's Idling ok but then it starts to sputter and won't rev. Then It stalls out and the car clicks. Now I'm thinking the car is just running off the battery and it's drained and starts to sputer? I have the White Blue wire from the RB harness goin to the battery and the RB Ground hooked up the battery along with the KA ground altho I don't have anything connected to the KA ground. Some input plz ohh and where can I find out the Check engine codes? I found this http://www.overflow.250x.com/_...m#ECU ? is that it? I thought there would be more codes?

it would have beeen easier if you just used the ka lower transmission harness thus you will only have to wire up like 6 wires at most and not have problems with your charging system. but your problem does sound charge related
