well, ive ordered my 19 x 8 rims, but theres so many tire sizes to choose from theres nothing thats "perfect 26.1" diameter

Theres either

(OE) 215 / 60 / 16 - 26.1" diameter

225 / 40 / 19 26.1" Diameter (but close to 300$ a tire)235 / 35 / 19 25.5" Diameter (150$ +/- 20$ a tire)245 / 35 / 19 25.8" Diameter (150$ +/- 20$ a tire)245 / 40 / 19 26.7" Diameter (150$ +/- 20$ a tire)

I have until friday before i make my purchaseKinda leaning towards the 245/40/19, but i dont want there to be any interferance.. expecially since im dropping the car on eibachs.

any input gents?

That is what i would go for if were you. I have 245/35 19" on M45 rims, I had to use spacers so I was concerned about hitting the inside of the shock towers. As it turns out there was no issue at all, I love the way it handles but I'd take that extra little bit of sidewall as sometimes i hit a bump and it puts of a thud than I'd like....the 35's work fine and they look great, but next set I'm going 40's.

What tires you going for, all of those are pretty cheap given the prices of these sizes...your going at least WR I hope

I "don't think" any fo the tire sizes you've listed will have any interference issues, but can't say for sure, without knowing the wheel offset. If they're int he low 30's you're probably fine, if they're in the upper 40's to 50's it's going to hit on the inside.

Is it too late to switch to an 8.5" wide wheel? 255/35/19 is 26" and would be your better option, IMHO. If it is too late, the 245/40 is probably your best bet.

Load and speed ratings? No 255 widths?

Oooops! 8" too narrow for that short of a shoulder in 255 width.

19X8 ? let me guess.....35 offset ?

if that is the case then it will not look good. the y33 takes some very aggressive offsets and widths.

with 19x8 and 35 offset, u can fit any tire u want.

actually no, they are 19x8jj with a 20 offset. going to stick out

My ONLY concern with a 40 sidewall, is if there will be any rubbing on the fenderwell..

tomorrow when the wheels get here, im doing some test fitting, and measuring, to make sure a 40 will fit, and if so, it is done.

I know Duy had 255/40-18 +25 and had rubbing on his Tein, but not on his Eibach sports.

BTW: He doesn't own the car anymore, but I think it is still in Houston.
