I too made my own, its actually really easy if you can make a stencil and have a steady hand. Screw paying for them!

are they vinyl? just fit them so they would work and trim them afterward with exacto knife or scalpel.

get a hold of lbc, he got a nice set of lids somewhere and they're not vinyl. only downside is you'll have to get them painted, but you can probably do it yourself with a couple cans of spray paint and clear coat.

Ask and yee shall receive!http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

The seller is http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/vq5speed/

Thats my car he uses to sell them, paint em n slap em on, a 5yo can install them, and they are FAR superior to vinyl eyelids (and i sell vinyl!)

Any paint recommendations? For my Precision Grey Altima, it looks like the color-matched paint (via http://www.paintscratch.com/ for example) would cost more than the eyelids themselves. Wondering if there are any matching Dupli-color paints or other cheaper options for our newer Altima colors.

How do you like the eyelids? I'll probably just go ahead and bite the bullet on it. Overlays would be cheaper, but i think this would look a lot cleaner.

there is bunch of them you can find on ebay, just search for "08 altima grill", or something similar.

From the T-Rex website. http://trexbillet.com/cart/ind...d=197

I got mine mid 07 before ebay was flooded with all the grilles for the 4th gens. T-Rex version you use the bottom part of your stock grille with theirs unless they have changed the design since. A little over 2 years later, not a spec of rust on it yet, so I'm happy with it

Get em painted by a shop.. shouldnt run you more than $40ish for the pair of eyelids and it will look vastly superior to rattlecan paint!

same here, i have the eyelids for a week or so now, am just waiting to get it painted. Since i already have some clear coat laying around when i bought some niteshade awhile ago (which i never get around to use it anyway), i'm going to buy the paint from the site you suggested, and see how that will work out. I hope it will look okay so i don't have to take it to a shop to get it painted...
