I have a KAT but I have a question for you SR guys with wideband sensors. Since you guys have factory turbo ecus I was wondering what numbers it puts down so i can compare with my kat tune. In like 4th or 5th gear when you get onto like 10-20 % throttle and let say the car starts to boost 5-7 psi but you are nowhere near WOT so it is still closed loop, does the car go to a rich AFR or does it still maintain a 14.7ish AFR in part throttle boost?

On part throttle my kat gives higher AFR and its on boost so Im worried its too lean, although it runs fine and there is not audible detonation . It also produces a more torquey feel than when you get full on throttle and I drove a factory golf 1.8t yesterday and it also gave a more torquey fell on part throttle so I was thinking maybe it doesnt need to be rich unless you are at WOT and doing hard acceleration. If I could get some feedback from some guys with wideband setups it would be helpful. Also feel free to go to my other post on the KAT forums and critique my idea to cure my car of this if it really is a part throttle problem:

I have tuned with a wide band but only on wide open throttle on a dyno, so I cant give a comparison with recorded information. But I will say the car runs richer on part-throttle than WOT. And yes my car feels more torquey at part throttle than full, but acceleration is definatly at a higher rate with full throttle.

An on board wide band sensor is on my list of things to get, and there are plenty on here who have a one. Hopefully some of them will chime in.

Ya i need part throttle numbers, thanks though. I know someone has a wideband and drives part throttle on a daily basis.
