need some info on s13 seat brackets...

i need some info on seat brackets for my s13. i was under the assumption that the s13 & s14 seat brackets were the same. i had called a local parts shop today to order the brackets. they told me they only had brackets for the s14 (95-99). when i told them that i believe that they also fit for the the s13, they told me that they would not. Is this true? Or do they just not know what their talk'n about?

Im not sure if s13 and s14 seat brackets are the same but I had a similar experience at autozone when i was trying to order my 300zx calipers. I said I wanted 91 300zx calipers, The manager punched it into the machine and said turbo or NA....i said it doesnt matter they are both the same for a 91. He looked at me with a face and was like there not the same turbo or NA....i said it doesnt matter they are both the same...now he got mad and was like there not the same, they have diffrent versions of the same brake. I was like wtf stop the bull****...so i finally told him to just order turbo ones. Sure enough they where 30mm aluminum. To bad after all that I returned them because they where beat to shiiiiit.

anyone? i know alot of people put the s14 seats in their s13, so i assumed they had the same brackets. gotta find out before tomorrow morning before i waste the money! thanks..

I know first hand that s14 seats fit in an s13, but that could just be that the mounting points on the bracket line up. I don't know if the brackets are the same beyond that.

The (right) side seat guide rail is the same on how it bolts up the seat frame and the piece that swivels

The (left) side seat guide rail is not the same. S14 seat rails bolts from underneath, S13 bolts from the side to the piece that swivels.

This info is for the driver seat btw...

I have s13 seats that i took out for S14 seats - but the S14 rails/swivel piece that connects to the seat and seat back was bent and i tried to use my s13 seat pieces... don’t work - anybody got some S14 seat guide rails and the swivel piece for the driver seat?
