Need some info on my Auto to Manual Swap for 1985 720 ST

Hi Guys ,

I have a 1985 ST that i am in the process on converting it from auto to manual.I am able to mount up the transmission but when i bolted the cross member to the transmission the holes on the cross member dont line up with the holes on the frame. Do i need to get a cross member from a manual model for this swap to work . Any info regarding this is greatly appreciated .

Hello there from a former owner of an 85 720 manual. Yes get the crossmember. Its the only way to do it.
