need some info on 88 hardbody

Forum for the Xterra, Frontier and Hardbody, the smaller workhorses of the Nissan lineup!

I just picked up a 88 4x4 v6 auto and would like some info on where to but oem style interior and exterior parts as well as any do's and donts or common problems with these trucks. any info would be great.

depending on the mileage and maintenance history, I would change the water pump and timing belt asap if it hasn't been done. If you do it now the motor will run forever! Mine has 293k miles and it still runs good.
Search car-parts.com if you want used interior parts, or get on infamousnissans.com and you can find some part outs.

It has 288,000 on it, I asked the guy I got it from about the timing belt and he said it had been changed, if thats the truth I dont know, ill probally take a look myself. The main thing intieior wise I want is a dash pad and carpet, ill check those places. Thanks

ebay sells a dash cap if yours isn't too destroyed. Just like the ones for s13's
